24-hour emergency department , a cardiac catheterization lab, and inpatient/outpatient rehabilitation services. The hospital emphasizes advanced technology, highly trained staff, and compassionate patient care.
We are seeking an
experienced ER Registered Nurse
to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency setting.
Key Responsibilities
Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions; administer medications and treatments as ordered
Modify patient treatment plans based on responses, conditions, and physician directives
Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan, implement, and evaluate care
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care
Provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety procedures
Supervise and delegate to auxiliary personnel; assist with training and instruction
Prepare patients for examinations and coordinate admissions/discharge planning
Engage in research activities and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Required:
1 year of
Acute Care ER experience
Florida RN license or approved multistate compact license (60 days to obtain Florida license if relocating)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
within 30 days of employment start
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
within 30 days of employment start
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
within 30 days of employment start
Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred:
Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment in emergency situations
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Hourly Rate:
$30.60-$45.90 (based on experience)
