Job Summary
The Football Analytics Engineering Intern will assist in the development of data pipelines and contribute to data analysis for projects across the Football Operations department. The internship will be conducted on-site in Green Bay, WI from mid‑July 2026 to mid‑June 2027.
Job Responsibilities
Transform, model, and test data from new and existing sources
Contribute to weekly game planning analysis, metric creation, and other research projects
Assist in on‑field practice data collection
Conduct other ad‑hoc projects and tasks, as requested
Qualifications
Knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts (experience with dbt a plus)
Knowledge of a programming language for data analysis (Python preferred)
Experience developing statistical and/or machine learning models a plus
Familiarity with football rules and strategy
Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to think creatively to develop innovative solutions to problems
Ability and willingness to work non‑traditional hours within a team environment
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
Ability to remain in a stationary position for periods of time.
Ability to focus on projects for periods of time.
Occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Operates in a professional office environment.
Role routinely uses standard office equipment.
Travel
This position does not require travel.
Supervises
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
