About the job Experienced Electrical Engineering / Scientist Grant Writer (Remote) - Indeed We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Grant Writer with a strong background in Electrical Engineering. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of securing funding through well-crafted grant proposals and a deep understanding of the technical aspects of Electrical Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
Grant Proposal Development: Research, write, and submit high-quality grant proposals to secure funding for Electrical Engineering applications.
Technical Writing: Translate complex technical concepts related to Electrical Engineering into clear, compelling narratives for grant applications.
Collaboration: Work closely with clients and project managers to gather necessary technical information and ensure accuracy in grant proposals.
Write Proposal Packages: Write the project narrative, budget justification, biosketches and other peripherals required for the submission based on the requirements of the solicitation.
Qualifications:
Education: Masters or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technical grant writing, with a focus on Electrical Engineering.
Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of Electrical Engineeringand its applications in research.
Writing Skills: Exceptional technical writing and editing skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and persuasively.
Research Skills: Proficient in conducting funding research and identifying suitable grant opportunities.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with grant management software and tools.
Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in Electrical Engineering field.
Previous success in securing large-scale grants for technology-driven projects.
Full-Time + Bonuses for winning grants. Project Base fee is based on project scope of work, education and expertise.
