Overview As a Web Developer, you’ll be familiar with REST API(s) – consuming and, where applicable, producing them, integrating them into controllers and models, and ensuring they work with views. On the front end that means experience with PHP, some jQuery, and bonus experience with more modern frameworks (React, AngularJS, etc.).
You should be comfortable with version control (Git preferred; SVN or CBS may be used in some cases). You understand test cases and continuous automation integration, and you’re comfortable using web meetings, Trello, GitLab, Slack and other tools to collaborate with other developers.
As a junior (2+ years) or senior (5+ years) developer, you will have extensive experience with PHP.
On the senior side, you’ll have more experience with overall architecture, data modeling, test cases and a proven track record of delivering larger, complex applications. On the junior side, you’ll be capable and have something to prove, while being open to learning.

Position Responsibilities / Requirements We use Slack, Zoom, WhatsApp and Skype for internal and external communication; you are expected to be available during your expected work hours.
May be called upon for other projects or assignments with reasonable notice of schedule changes/modifications.
Strong PHP5/6/7 OOP/MVC
Working experience with Laravel, Vue.js
Experience with other PHP frameworks, e.g. Symfony, CI, CakePHP, FF, etc.
Strong HTML/CSS and experience with Bootstrap and template engines (like Smarty); REST / JSON APIs
Experience using MySQL, MariaDB, various NoSQL databases, etc.
Experience with jQuery and JavaScript is a plus
