We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join a dynamic team focused on developing, deploying, and optimizing machine learning models and solutions in a cloud-based environment. You will be responsible for building, scaling, and maintaining ML pipelines, ensuring robust model performance, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful AI-driven outcomes. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, communicative, and comfortable working with both developers and business stakeholders. This is an opportunity to work with a Fortune 50 large enterprise - a leader in their industry.

This fully remote, long-term contract opportunity offers hourly compensation (plus benefits) during the contract engagement, along with a strong pathway for future growth and the potential for permanent hire, based on business needs and performance.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in engineering, preferably within a large enterprise environment, with 1+ years of hands-on experience in Machine Learning.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL
• Hands-on experience with cloud ML solutions, specifically VertexAI and related Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
• General software engineering skills, including familiarity with coding best practices and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong communication skills - must be comfortable interfacing with business stakeholders, developers, and other cross-functional team members.
