JAMES PERSE FULL TIME ART DIRECTOR – MARINA DEL REY, CA We are seeking a highly motivated Art Director with top‑tier experience from the fashion industry to lead seasonal creative across a broad range of media, ensuring high‑impact customer‑facing design.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Bring a discerning eye and fresh ideas to fast‑paced, high‑level campaigns.
Create design and content for all brand communications, website, photo & video art direction, marketing, publicity materials, events, and retail design.
Leverage industry contacts to move projects from concept to production on time and within budget.
Develop concepts from limited direction and produce presentations that communicate ideas clearly to leadership.
Maintain a brand‑side mentality with a passion for luxury fashion and James Perse sensibility.
Employ sharp typography skills and knowledge of the luxury segment to produce photorealistic renderings, mock‑ups, graphic presentations, and catalogs.
Execute photo art direction, high‑level graphic design, and meticulous asset formatting with equal proficiency across all areas.
Utilize AI and emerging technologies, including DAM systems.
Required Skills, Knowledge, Experience Education Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience 5+ years of experience in creative roles, 2+ years as an Art Director.
Advanced technical aptitude and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
Strong on‑set skills and ability to collaborate with producers, talent, and photographers.
Experience with AI for imagery and video manipulation.
Video editing experience in Premiere or comparable software is a plus.
Clear articulation of brand vision and storytelling.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Capability to multitask, solve problems, and meet multiple deadlines.
Professional communication skills.
