About the Role

The Senior Software Engineer will take the technical lead in developing industrial software solution using modern technologies.

Responsibilities
Build web applications with React and Node.js
Create dashboards and interfaces for industrial systems
Develop APIs and real-time applications
Apply cybersecurity best practices
Work with industrial automation systems
Maintain code quality

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Masters in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or related major
Reliably commute to the headquarters in Hebron, Kentucky
Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
Genuine curiosity and passion for problem-solving

Required Skills

JavaScript & TypeScript - Modern JavaScript and TypeScript for development
Node.js - Server-side applications, REST APIs, system communication, WebSocket implementations, and real-time systems
React - Frontend development, UI design, dashboards, human-machine interfaces, and modern React patterns (Hooks, Context API etc.)
Industrial Cybersecurity - Network security fundamentals and operational technology security for industrial environments
Git - Version control workflows and collaboration platforms (GitHub, GitLab)
Development Tools - CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, code linting, and build tools (Webpack, Vite or similar)

Preferred Skills

Industrial Automation - PLC systems, HMIs, Mechatronics, SCADA systems and protocols (ADS, OPC UA, Ethernet/IP or similar)
Python/C++ - Scripting for automation tasks, data processing, and backend tooling
Time-Series Databases - InfluxDB or similar for sensor data and metrics handling
Computer Vision - Open-source models, CUDA, camera integration, object/pose detection, and image processing
Docker - Containerization and deployment environments
Linux - Command line operations and system administration
Real-Time Systems - Real-time data processing and low-latency applications
Network Protocols - Industrial networking standards and communication protocols
