Indemnity Adjuster
to join one of our client’s workers’ compensation teams in Norristown, PA. This role focuses on the management of complex indemnity claims, with a strong emphasis on litigated files. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of state regulations, proven negotiation skills, and experience working closely with legal and medical professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a full caseload of workers’ compensation indemnity claims from inception through resolution
Handle a desk consisting of approximately
135 total claims , with
50–70% litigated files
Evaluate compensability, exposure, and reserves in compliance with state regulations
Coordinate with defense attorneys, medical providers, and vocational experts
Negotiate settlements and prepare claims for hearing, mediation, or trial as needed
Maintain accurate and timely claim documentation
Ensure compliance with NJ, PA, and DE workers’ compensation guidelines
Required Skills and Experience
Minimum
3 years of complex workers’ compensation claims experience
Strong background handling
indemnity claims , specifically
litigated files
Hands-on experience managing claims in
New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware
Proven ability to manage high-exposure claims and litigation-heavy caseloads
Strong communication, organization, and negotiation skills
