Technology FP&A team plans and forecasts headcount plans associated with the Engineering and the Data & Insights organizations. We are responsible for producing accurate and timely budgets and forecasts for headcount and infrastructure expenses within the organization (incl Cloud, SW, HW, etc).

Position Overview

Our team is looking for early-career finance professionals to join our team. This role will support the FP&A team and manage data-entry, validation and reconciliation to build accurate financial forecasts. This role will also contribute to reporting and financial analysis that are used to inform important business decisions.
The role will report into the Director of FP&A or a designated Manager (preferred)

Responsibilities

Execute and manage data entry for forecasting and analysis
Perform data validation and reconciliation analysis
Update data across internal dashboards and tools
Contribute to presentations and memos that can support financial and business decisions
Prior experience in financial planning & analysis or Big 4 accounting is preferred. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record of performing financial analysis and knowledge of the forecast submission process.

Requirements

2+ years of experience conducting quantitative and qualitative financial analysis
Proficiency with spreadsheet-based tools like Google Sheets or Excel
Experience with managing and analyzing large, complex data sets
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Sound working knowledge of the related accounting guidance preferred
Strong understanding of data architecture and the ability to effectively connect to, manage, and extract relevant data from various financial systems and databases
Bachelor's degree with emphasis on coursework of a quantitative nature, preferably Business, Economics, or Mathematics

Nice To Haves Or Preferred Skills

Proficiency in designing, developing, maintaining interactive Tableau dashboards and/or BI tools (e.g. Looker), and ensuring data accuracy and consistency through strong quality controls
Collaboration with data owners to ensure seamless, accurate access and extraction of financial data and drive automation and reporting solutions to enable decision making (e.g. actionable insights based on financial performance, trends and drivers)
Proficiency / hands-on experience of data-oriented programming languages (e.g. SQL) and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements for our data science partners

Pay Rate Range

$45-50/hr.
