Fairview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a friendly, energetic, and compassionate
Activities Aide
to join our team full-time and help bring joy and engagement to our residents’ daily lives.
Activities Aide Schedule
Full-Time, primarily weekdays (office hours)
Some weekends and occasional evenings required for special events
Activities Aide Key Responsibilities
Assist in planning and leading fun activities such as games, crafts, music, exercise, and holiday events
Help set up and clean activity areas
Escort and transport residents to and from activities safely
Provide one-on-one engagement and encouragement for residents
Document resident participation
Work collaboratively with the Activities Director, nursing, and therapy teams
Activities Aide Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience working with seniors, in activities, recreation, or long-term care is preferred
Outgoing, patient, and positive personality
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Reliable and flexible with schedule
Ability to stand, walk, and assist with resident transport
