About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Environmental Protection Specialist to support regulatory compliance and permitting activities.
This role is responsible for ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local environmental regulations while maintaining accurate documentation and supporting operational teams.

Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, including federal and state requirements (e.g., Clean Water Act, HAZMAT regulations)
Prepare, submit, and track environmental permits and related documentation
Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, reports, and filings
Monitor and interpret regulatory changes, ensuring timely updates to internal processes
Support audits, inspections, and regulatory inquiries
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure environmental standards are met across operations
Assist with AQMD-related reporting and compliance requirements
Identify and resolve compliance issues in a timely and effective manner

Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental compliance or a related field
Strong understanding of environmental regulations at both federal and state levels
Hands-on experience with permit filing and regulatory documentation
Familiarity with AQMD (Air Quality Management District) requirements
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail with strong organizational abilities
Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
