Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Network Security Data Manager
with strong infrastructure expertise to lead the design, implementation, and governance of secure network environments and data protection strategies. This role combines
network security, data management, and infrastructure leadership
to ensure resilient, scalable, and compliant IT systems.
Key Responsibilities
Network Security Management
Design, implement, and manage secure network architectures (LAN, WAN, VPN, cloud networks)
Oversee firewall, IDS/IPS, WAF, and endpoint security solutions
Monitor and respond to security incidents, vulnerabilities, and threats
Ensure network compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements
Develop and enforce data governance, classification, and protection strategies
Ensure secure data storage, transmission, and access controls
Implement encryption, DLP (Data Loss Prevention), and backup strategies
Collaborate with data teams to ensure data integrity and availability
Manage on-premise and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Oversee network infrastructure including routers, switches, load balancers
Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
Lead infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and optimization initiatives
Conduct risk assessments, audits, and vulnerability management
Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR (if applicable)
Maintain documentation for policies, procedures, and incident reports
Lead and mentor network/security engineers and administrators
Collaborate with DevOps, cloud, and application teams
Engage with vendors and manage third-party security solutions
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong knowledge of networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing & switching
Expertise in firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA), VPNs, and network segmentation
Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, etc.)
Hands-on with cloud security (AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center)
Knowledge of scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
Infrastructure Skills
Experience managing hybrid infrastructure environments
Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform)
Data Security
Data encryption, masking, tokenization techniques
DLP tools and data governance frameworks
