Structural Designer – Cryogenic Plants (Contract)
We are seeking a Structural Designer with industrial/chemical project experience to support cryogenic plant design. This role focuses on producing accurate structural drawings from 3D BIM models for engineering approval and fabrication.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop layouts, plans, elevations, and detailed structural drawings from 3D models
Produce 2D drawings using AutoCAD, CADWorx, and BricsCAD
Create drawings for industrial structures (pipe racks, towers, skids, platforms)
Prepare concrete, steel, and installation detailing
Interpret engineering mark-ups and update drawings accurately and on time
Ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, and approval workflows
Manage drawing revisions and documentation
Requirements:
2+ years’ experience in industrial/chemical projects (non-commercial/residential)
Degree or equivalent in a technical field
Strong understanding of structural steel and civil drawings
Proficiency in AutoCAD, CADWorx, and BricsCAD
Knowledge of structural concrete/steel detailing standards
Familiarity with industrial project workflows and MS Office tools
Details:
6–12 month contract
Onsite, 5 days/week
Up to $65/hour (W2)
