Product Safety & Validation Test Engineer
We are seeking a hands-on Test Engineer to support validation and certification of battery systems This role focuses on testing high-power systems to ensure safety, performance, and compliance from prototype through production.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform hands-on testing of BESS, power electronics, and control systems
Develop and execute validation (DVT), reliability, and safety test plans
Set up and operate lab equipment (power supplies, loads, oscilloscopes, environmental chambers)
Troubleshoot failures, perform root-cause analysis, and support design improvements
Support UL/CSA/NEC compliance and coordinate with NRTL labs
Document test results and support cross-functional teams
Requirements:
BS in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or similar)
2+ years of hands-on testing/validation experience
Experience with high-voltage or power systems (BESS preferred)
Familiarity with UL/CSA/NEC standards
Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
Compensation:
Up to $90,000 + benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO)
