The Role
We are currently seeking an
Environmental Technician
at our Verona, Wisconsin location. This is a great entry-level opportunity with an innovative organization that embraces new ideas and actively invests in research and development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
The Environmental Technician assists with onsite remediation projects, field operations, equipment maintenance, data entry, data evaluation, and reporting.
Treat impacted soils and groundwater via in-situ injection or soil mixing
Prepare treatment chemistries
Maintain and clean field equipment
Data entry and documentation of daily field activities
Communicate with clients regarding recommended treatment solutions
Comply with all company, client, and regulatory safety requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, chemistry, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
Strong work ethic and reliability.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Mechanical aptitude.
Ability to lift up to 55 pounds and perform field work in physically demanding situations.
Will need to obtain OSHA 40-hour Hazwoper training.
Driver’s license with good driving record; experience pulling utility or small trailers is a plus.
Willingness to travel to project sites in primarily North America (up to 25%), occasionally for more than a week at a time.
