Job Description
Robotics Lab Operator / Robot Operator
Location:
San Francisco, California
Role Overview
Seeking robotic operations specialists to work, hands-on, with state-of-the-art robotic AI systems with the goal of generating training data. Operators directly work with models to fuel machine learning processes and to take them through unique, multi-step tasks. Effectively handling collection and task execution on a repetitive basis with the goal of generating a high-quality set of data for AI training procedures. This includes training robots to; pick-up and drop, sort, open and close, fold, assemble, and conduct multi-step assembly processes with varying items.
Additionally, operators will be asked to take in-depth detailed feedback, annotate and review videos using in-house computer interfaces, assist with equipment, and participate in holistic procedural adaptations to benefit the data collection process.
Salary and Work Conditions
$25/hr + Benefits Package
Morning, Evening, and Overnight shift options (8 hours with 30-minute lunch break & two additional paid breaks)
Physical Requirements
Capable of standing at workstation for lengthy periods of time
Coordinated and with good manual dexterity
Use of both arms for robot control mechanisms
