
Senior Network Administrator

Technical Stack Requirements
• Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, Meraki, ASA (Required)
• Palo Alto + Panorama (Required)
• Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, SIP, RTP, EIGRP, OSPF, STP, bridging. (Required)
• Familiarity of SONET, fiber optic systems, DACS, multiplexers, T-1 circuits. (Preferred)
• VPN gateways (Required)
• IDS/IPS (Preferred)
• DHCP administration (Preferred)
• DNS administration (Preferred)
Tools and Technologies
• Network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, NetScout, Wireshark). (Required)
• Fiber testing tools (OTDR, power meters). (Required)
• Change management systems (e.g., ServiceNow). (Required)
• Network performance and analysis tools (Extrahop, Forescout) (Preferred)
• Remote access and troubleshooting utilities (e.g., SecureCRT, Putty). (Preferred)
Leadership and Management Expectations
• Plan, test, implement, post-test, monitor, and review work mostly unsupervised.
• Provide point of escalation for junior admins.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts and resolve escalated issues.
• Manage / maintain vendor relationships and contribute to RFP development.
• Ensure documentation accuracy and maintain system inventory.
• Support disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Develop process and procedural documentation and contribute to the document repository.
Certifications and Experience
• BS in Computer Science or related field + 4 years experience OR 8 years equivalent experience.
• CCNP certification required within 6 months of employment.
• Valid driver’s license required.
Physical and Operational Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.
• Capable of climbing, kneeling, bending, and working at heights.
• Must support 24x7 system availability. There IS an on-call rotation that is expected to be supported after onboarding phase.

This role requires strong communication and collaboration skills, the ability to work in ambiguous situations, the ability to work with little to no supervision, and accountability to follow up on requirements without prompting.
