This senior-level Information Security Analyst will support the Information Protection domain, focusing on steady-state governance activities rather than project-based delivery.

The position emphasizes a governance-first mindset, with responsibility for policy oversight, validation of data protection controls, and execution of enterprise-wide governance processes. This individual will act as a key partner within the organization, often operating independently and representing leadership across forums and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Execute governance activities supporting enterprise data protection requirements, particularly data at rest
Govern data protection across platforms and services, including data at rest (structured and unstructured) and data in flight
Own and manage recurring enterprise metric cycles, including validation, analysis, commentary, and remediation coordination
Establish and maintain governance structures, including metrics, forums, committees, and communication channels
Analyze risk and control gaps and influence remediation decisions with technology and risk partners
Interpret and apply information security policies and standards across domains
Produce audit-defensible documentation and reporting artifacts
Support enterprise risk management, Board-level reporting, and audit readiness efforts
Coordinate remediation activities and ensure consistent follow-through on governance outcomes
Support responsible automation and AI adoption through governance execution
Track and manage governance work using tools such as JIRA and Kanban frameworks

Level 4 (Senior) Expectations
Demonstrate a holistic understanding of governance across domains, including end-to-end data protection
Validate effectiveness of protection mechanisms and controls
Lead discussions and interface across governance forums, stakeholders, and leadership
Operate independently with minimal oversight while providing guidance to others
Act on behalf of leadership when needed, engaging with peers and direct stakeholders
Deliver high-quality, detail-oriented work with strong consistency and accountability
Communicate effectively across written, verbal, and executive-facing formats

Required Qualifications
Experience in Governance, Risk, and Controls (GRC), cybersecurity, information security, or IT risk management
Proven ability to exercise professional judgment in ambiguous governance or risk scenarios and influence outcomes without formal authority
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience operating within large, complex, and highly regulated enterprise environments
Experience supporting enterprise metrics, dashboards, or reporting cycles
Strong written and verbal communication skills suitable for executive and audit audiences
High attention to detail and ability to operate independently

Required Tools & Skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (analysis, pivot tables, data validation)
Microsoft PowerPoint (executive-level reporting)
Experience with enterprise metrics, data, and reporting platforms
Familiarity with JIRA and Kanban-based work management (highly desired)
Ability to communicate complex risk topics clearly through written deliverables and governance summaries
Audit support experience

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Power Automate for workflow and governance automation
Microsoft Lists for tracking, documentation, and evidence management
Power BI and/or Microsoft Fabric
Information protection or data security experience
Metrics governance or KPI ownership
