is seeking an experienced
Senior Quality Engineer
to support and drive quality excellence across customer programs and internal processes. This role plays a critical part in maintaining compliance with aerospace standards while serving as a key interface between customers, engineering, and operations.

Position Overview
The Senior Quality Engineer is responsible for advancing quality performance through strong technical expertise, clear communication, and effective collaboration. This role supports multiple customer accounts—including OEMs and sub-tier suppliers—and owns critical Quality Management System (QMS) processes in accordance with
AS9100 / AS13100
and customer-specific requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain configuration control documentation, including contract review and blueprint/specification control
Manage multiple customer accounts and serve as the primary quality point of contact
Act as a backup Quality Engineer for additional customer programs as needed
Own and manage assigned QMS processes and special quality projects
Support Engineering with waiver, concession, and deviation submissions
Review and submit First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs)
Lead investigations into customer complaints and returns
Prepare and communicate corrective actions internally and externally
Review customer and supplier purchase orders for quality-related requirements
Serve as the internal quality representative for customer and supplier interactions
Achieve and maintain customer source inspection certifications
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Support training and mentoring within the quality organization
Perform internal audits and support external, customer, and special process audits
Review industry standards and customer specifications; assist with audit preparation
Act as a subject matter expert for customer-specific requirements or assigned specialty areas
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred
6+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer
or in a related quality discipline
Experience with
AS9100 and/or ISO 9001
quality systems
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and detailed customer specifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Comfortable working with customer portals and documentation systems
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Positive, proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership
Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment
