Role Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant for a full-time, primarily on-site role based in Friday Harbor, WA. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing critical finance functions, including budgeting, financial reporting, general accounting, and compliance. This role involves overseeing accounts payable and receivable, conducting regular financial reconciliations, preparing tax filings, and supporting audits. The Senior Accountant will also contribute to operational efficiencies by analyzing financial data and advising on cost-saving measures and revenue optimization strategies.
Qualifications
Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance
Expertise in budgeting, financial reconciliations, and tax preparation
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
Experience with accounting software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills for internal and external reporting
CPA certification or equivalent is preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
Experience in the ISP or IT services industry is a plus
