Summary
Spherion has an opportunity for a professional, executive driver and family support chauffeur. The Executive Corporate Chauffeur serves as a professional trusted member of the operations team, providing safe, discreet, and professional transportation services for executives, family members, and distinguished guests. Beyond driving responsibilities, this role encompasses a broad range of support functions critical to the smooth operation of the office, including courier services, executive errands, event and security support, and participation in office logistics projects. This individual must consistently demonstrate the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and service excellence.
Responsibilities
Provide safe, timely, and professional chauffeured transportation for executives, family members, and authorized guests in company vehicles
Plan and execute driving routes in advance, accounting for traffic, weather, and schedule requirements
Accompany executives and family members on overnight and multi-day trips, including domestic travel; may involve extended time away from home
Maintain strict punctuality and flexibility to accommodate schedule changes, early departures, and late arrivals
Always ensure passenger comfort — climate control, preferred music/media, refreshments, and privacy
Coordinate with executive assistants to align transportation with calendars and travel itineraries
Vehicle Management & Maintenance to include maintaining all assigned vehicles in immaculate condition — interior cleanliness, exterior appearance, and fueling. Coordinate routine maintenance, scheduled service, registrations, and insurance documentation
Mail, Package & Courier Services to include receive, sort, and deliver incoming mail and packages to appropriate recipients within the office or at designated locations. Handle time-sensitive and confidential deliveries to professional partners.
General Administrative & Office Support includes assist in coordinating deliveries, pickups, and transportation of materials, equipment, and furniture related to a planned office renovation. Serve as an on-site liaison to facilitate access for contractors, vendors, and delivery personnel. Support general logistics tasks as directed by the project manager or office management team. Complete other duties as assigned by management, maintaining a flexible, service-first attitude.
Required Qualifications
Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record; must be insurable under company policy
Ability to attain For-Hire Driver certification through CPD
Minimum 3 years of professional driving experience (or comparable experience), preferably in a private household, family office, executive, or chauffeured transportation setting
Demonstrated ability to exercise absolute confidentiality and discretion in all matters
Strong working knowledge of local and regional roads; proficiency with GPS and navigation applications
Excellent punctuality, time management, and organizational skills
Professional personal presentation and communication — a polished, courteous demeanor at all times
Physical ability to load and unload packages, assist with luggage, and stand or sit for extended periods
Flexibility to work variable hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight travel as required
Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) review
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a private family office/ household, or luxury/executive transportation environment
CPR/First Aid certification
Completion of a formal executive protection or defensive driving course
Familiarity with security protocols and best practices in a private or high-profile setting
Experience coordinating with external vendors, contractors, or service providers
Comfort with basic technology tools (smartphone, scheduling apps, navigation, expense tracking)
