$75,000--$85,000
Overview
Elevate is partnering with a law firm client in Century City, CA to identify a talented law clerk to support high‑volume litigation matters. This role is integral to ensuring seamless workflow coordination, proactive deadline management, accurate court filings, and comprehensive case tracking across both state and federal proceedings. Recent Law School grads are especially welcome to apply!
Responsibilities
Manage workflow distribution and delegate tasks to ensure daily productivity targets and operational efficiency
Monitor case intake, assess eligibility for delegation, and track progress across active matters
Maintain and update trackers and Salesforce reports to provide real‑time visibility into case status, deadlines, and fee activity
Oversee deadlines for hearings, dismissals, and post‑settlement procedures in state and federal courts
Review court orders and newly filed cases to identify unique deadlines or risks and escalate as needed
Draft and review legal documents, including stipulations and proposed orders, under attorney supervision
Coordinate with opposing counsel to obtain approvals for joint filings and ensure timely submissions
File legal documents in compliance with court rules, procedures, and deadlines
Prepare and distribute status reports with case updates, upcoming deadlines, and recommendations
Serve as a resource for team members on case status, deadlines, drafting, and filing processes
Qualifications:
Proven ability to handle high‑volume, deadline‑driven litigation workflows with strong organizational skills
Working knowledge of state and federal court rules, filing procedures, and e‑filing systems (e.g., CM/ECF, PACER)
Experience maintaining case trackers, reports, and deadlines using case management systems and spreadsheets
Preferred Skills
Proficiency with Salesforce or similar case management and reporting platforms
Experience drafting legal documents such as stipulations and proposed orders
Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills for tracking, reporting, and data analysis
