Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Exciting opportunity available for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to support middle and high school students onsite for the upcoming academic year. Located near the beautiful Mojave area, this contract role offers a chance to work in a collaborative educational environment, making a positive impact on student success. Key Qualifications:Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)School-based SLP experience preferred, especially with middle and high school age groupsSkilled in all aspects of speech services: assessments, evaluations, direct therapy, and IEP participationStrong communication, organization, and IEP documentation skillsAbility to build rapport with students, teachers, and families Primary Responsibilities:Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students in grades 6-12Conduct comprehensive assessments and re-evaluations according to IEP timelinesDevelop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), including goal setting and progress monitoringConsult and collaborate with educators and parents to support student learningMaintain compliant records and documentation for all services providedParticipate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Role Details:Full-time, onsite position: 37.5 hours per week, Monday–FridayServe as a key resource within a dedicated special education teamOnsite support within a supportive, welcoming school district This is an ideal assignment for SLPs who are eager to take on meaningful work in a school setting and are comfortable managing the full spectrum of speech-language services.
