Clinical Nurse Consultant
to support our skilled nursing and assisted living communities—someone who knows how to walk into a building, quickly assess, and make things better.
This is a
hands-on, high-visibility role
reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer. You’ll partner with Administrators and Directors of Nursing to strengthen clinical operations, ensure regulatory readiness, and mentor the next generation of leaders.
What You’ll Do
Serve as a
trusted clinical advisor
to facility leadership
Support
state & federal survey readiness
and onsite inspections
Lead
mock surveys, audits, and compliance reviews
(onsite + remote)
Identify gaps, drive
plans of correction , and follow through
Provide
real-time coaching and mentorship
to DONs and leadership teams
Investigate clinical concerns and guide
risk mitigation strategies
Deliver clear, actionable
reports and recommendations
Contribute to
QAPI initiatives
and system-wide quality improvement
What You Bring
RN license (active & in good standing)
Director of Nursing experience
or strong regional clinical background
Proven success in
long-term care / skilled nursing
Deep knowledge of
state & federal regulations
Strong clinical judgment + ability to
see what others miss
Exceptional communication, leadership, and follow-through
The Role
Full-time or Part-time options
Travel required (regional, across Massachusetts. Some overnights possible)
