
Senior Data Scientist

The Senior Data Scientist leverages advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and machine learning to extract actionable insights from data and drive strategic decision-making across the organization. This role partners closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to solve complex business problems, improve operational performance, and identify opportunities for innovation and automation.
The Senior Data Scientist will design, build, and deploy machine learning and forecasting models while helping scale Crumbl’s data science capabilities. This role requires strong technical expertise, a strategic mindset, and the ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear recommendations that influence business outcomes.
Responsibilities
Apply advanced statistical analysis and experimentation techniques to evaluate strategies and measure business impact.
Design, build, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models to solve complex business problems.
Develop forecasting models using modern time-series approaches and tools such as TimesFM, Chronos, TimeGPT, and GreedyEnsemble.
Build and maintain scalable data science workflows and pipelines using orchestration tools such as Prefect.
Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams to ensure reliable data pipelines and model deployment.
Partner with senior leaders and stakeholders to identify opportunities where data science can drive measurable value.
Identify opportunities to automate analytical processes and improve data workflows across the organization.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
5+ years of experience in software development, data science, or other related fields.
Advanced SQL skills with experience working with large-scale data sets.
Strong proficiency in Python or R for statistical analysis and machine learning.
Experience with Cloud Technologies (AWS preferred).
Familiarity with modern forecasting models such as TimesFM, Chronos, TimeGPT, and GreedyEnsemble
Familiarity with Tableau or similar visualization tools.
Experience orchestrating data workflows using tools such as Prefect or similar pipeline orchestration frameworks.
Experience with DBT and Snowflake is preferred but not required.
Excellent verbal and written communication, and attention to detail.
Maintain a positive attitude and have the ability to handle change with professionalism and authenticity.
