Job Summary
The Associate Director of Financial Aid Systems oversees the CMS (Oracle/Peoplesoft) Student Administration Financial Aid Module and the fiscal operations of a comprehensive student financial aid delivery system that administers more than $340 million annually. The role provides strategic leadership in the effective use of existing systems, implementation of new technologies, process improvement initiatives, project management best practices, and required statistical, financial, and compliance reporting.

The incumbent delivers equitable, inclusive, and culturally sensitive services, employing a student‑centered and equity‑minded approach in all communication and service efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Provide leadership and strategic direction for the PeopleSoft Student Administration Financial Aid Module, including development, optimization, and implementation of automated processes and technologies to improve operational efficiency and ensure timely, accurate delivery of financial aid during critical processing periods.

Manage the financial aid systems team, ensuring effective coordination, planning, and oversight of workflows to support accurate system configuration and annual processing activities, and identify and recommend enhancements to operational practices while promoting ongoing staff professional development.

Manage and coordinate required financial aid data reporting activities in compliance with federal, state, and system‑wide requirements.

This is a regular, at‑will position.

Compensation
Salary placement is determined by the education, experience, and qualifications the candidate brings to the position, internal equity, and the hiring department’s fiscal resources.

Hiring Range : $8,339 – $10,000 per month commensurate with candidate's education, experience, skills, and training.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Education and Experience
Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in a related field (education, business, social sciences) and a minimum of three years of related experience. A master’s degree is preferred, and a minimum of five years of related experience is strongly desired.
