AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. The Critical Projects Implementation (CPI) team manages construction activity within operational data‑center spaces, improving utilization of space, power, and cooling. These projects are outside the scope of standard construction delivery and routine maintenance.
We are seeking an energetic Data Center Project Manager to serve as a technical resource within Amazon data centers. The Project Manager will oversee and review all disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, controls, and architectural. Responsibilities include:
Providing project oversight and coordination across disciplines.
Identifying areas for improvement and acting on data from related teams and organizations.
Designing, developing, and deploying innovative solutions to operational challenges.
Managing the overall direction, implementation, execution, control, and completion of projects in line with company strategy and goals.
Improving electrical, mechanical, fire detection, and building automation systems.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience carrying new design concepts through exploration, development, and deployment or mass production.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Windows operating systems.
Experience with power management and power monitoring systems.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of project management in data centers or comparable critical infrastructure.
Knowledge of critical data center equipment and engineering documentation.
Understanding of electrical diagrams and standard operating procedures.
Knowledge of building codes and regulations, including Life Safety, BOCA, NFPA, NEC, and OSHA.
Experience reading and interpreting construction specifications and drawings for all domains.
Deep understanding of electrical and mechanical data center infrastructure.

Compensation includes a base salary range of $111,300.00 to $186,100.00 USD annually, sign‑on payments, and restricted stock units (RSUs).
