Aerospace Corrosion Engineer
We are looking for a systems engineer who can combine technical expertise with big‑picture thinking to impact the design, development and sustainment of aerospace systems. The candidate must understand customer environments and translate real‑world needs into technical specifications, delivering customer‑focused engineering solutions.

Responsibilities
Lead corrosion engineering activities for stealth aircraft platforms, design and develop corrosion management solutions, and evolve systems with advanced technology. Expand skillset across aircraft development, sustainment, and corrosion portfolio development. Merge technical engineering and digital engineering to create prevention and control solutions that improve mission outcomes.

Required Qualifications (You Have)

8+ years of experience in defense engineering, sustainment, or maintenance, working as a corrosion engineer.

Knowledge of corrosion mechanisms (galvanic, pitting, environmental, stress corrosion cracking) and implementation of prevention & control programs.

Knowledge of aircraft and defense corrosion standards, including airworthiness.

Ability to analyze corrosion data, trends and make recommendations within a complex aircraft enterprise.

Secret clearance.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical or Corrosion Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice If You Have)

5+ years of experience as an aerospace corrosion engineer, especially in mixed‑material, low‑observable aircraft structures.

Experience with corrosion‑related databases, analysis pipelines, or dashboards.

Experience developing and implementing CPCP programs that meet regulatory requirements.

Proficiency with Power BI or similar data evaluation tools.

Master’s degree in Corrosion Engineering or a related field.

AMPP in Corrosion Certification.

Clearance
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Secret clearance is required.

Compensation
Salary range: $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate represents the typical salary range for this position and is one component of the total compensation package. This posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.
