Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into an essential perioperative nursing position supporting a multidisciplinary surgical team in a dynamic operating room setting. This contract opportunity seeks a skilled RN with extensive circulating experience, especially in orthopedic procedures. Previous exposure to endoscopy and general surgery is also important. The role entails close collaboration with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and fellow nurses to optimize patient outcomes in a high-acuity environment. Schedule:Monday through Friday, Day shifts40 hours per weekTypical schedule does not include call or holidays, though rare exceptions may occur Qualifications:Current, active RN licensureRecent circulating RN experience in an operating room, with a focus on orthopedic casesFamiliarity with endoscopy and general surgery casesBachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred)BLS certification (required); additional ACLS/PALS certification is a strong assetExcellent critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills Role Responsibilities:Circulate during a variety of surgical cases, emphasizing orthopedic, endoscopy, and general surgeriesMaintain aseptic technique and ensure compliance with safety protocols throughout all proceduresCollaborate closely with the surgical team to provide safe, efficient, and high-quality patient carePrepare and position patients for procedures, monitor progress, and document intraoperative eventsMaintain accurate records and adhere to facility policiesParticipate in orientation of new staff and residents as needed Benefits:Potential access to a private room in fully equipped shared housing (availability based on capacity; no pets, partners, or families; no smoking/vaping)Work-life balance with consistent daytime hoursOpportunity to work in a scenic mountain region Contribute your expertise to exceptional patient care in a collaborative surgical environment.
