Structural Welder

Rivet is recruiting for FabLogix A state-of-the-art facility in Duncan, SC is hiring Structural Welders for a 1st shift opportunity. This is a direct hire (full-time) position. Pay is competitive and based on experience. Responsibilities: Perform GMAW (MIG) and FCAW (Flux Core) welding on structural steel components Weld plate, angle, channel, I-beams, gussets, and assemblies in multiple positions Complete welds in accordance with WPS, drawings, and customer specifications Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and welding symbols Prepare materials including cleaning, grinding, and fit-up Inspect welds to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with standards Maintain proper use of welding equipment and tools Follow all PPE, safety policies, and shop procedures Communicate with supervisors and QC to support production flow Maintain a clean and organized work area Qualifications: Minimum 1+ year of structural welding experience Hands-on experience with GMAW (MIG) and FCAW (Flux Core) Ability to weld in multiple positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead) Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols Experience working with structural steel components Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Must be able to pass the following weld tests: GMAW (MIG) plate test (2G, 3G, and 4G) FCAW (Flux Core) plate test (2G, 3G, and 4G) Preferred (not required, but a plus): Experience operating mobile equipment (forklift, man lift, etc.) Experience with fabrication and structural assembly Familiarity with inspection processes and quality standards We Offer: Full-time, direct hire position 1st shift / shop-based work (no travel) Stable workload supporting ongoing fabrication projects Strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork Competitive pay and benefits Opportunity for growth and skill development Apply today!
