Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 06/01/2026 Duration: 14 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Join the team as an Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you will operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic images used by physicians to evaluate and treat medical conditions. Minimum Requirements: National certification in ultrasound specialty from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (preferred). Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology or Medical Sonography. One year of radiologic/imaging experience. Specific experience and training in medical sonography required. Vascular and obstetric sonography experience required (client-specific). Proficiency with major medical sonography equipment, manufacturers' hardware and software. Department-specific training and ability to comply with on-call specifics. Proficient computer skills, including word processing. Possesses knowledge of general anatomy, physiology and medical terminology. Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication skills required. Ability to independently take initiative and exercise judgment in decision-making. BLS certification (preferred). Assignment Details Facility type: Hospital. Shift name: Nights. Shift schedule: Nights 1900-0700. Shift pattern: Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights. Assignment length: 14 weeks. On-call requirements: Ability to comply with on-call specifics. Travel requirement: 100 mile radius rule applies.
