Emergency Medicine Physician

Locums - Cambridge, Ohio, Emergency Medicine Opening (IMLC Welcome)

Clinical Role:

• Start Date: ASAP

• Ongoing availability

• Seeking providers able to commit to a minimum of 5 shifts per month with availability for 12+ months

• 12-hour shifts

• Night and weekend coverage needed

• Physician shift options:

  • 7:00am-7:00pm

  • 7:00pm-7:00am

• APP shift options:

  • 9:00am-9:00pm

  • 11:00am-11:00pm

  • 2:00pm-2:00am

• Credentialing timeline: approximately 45-60 days

Practice Setting:

• Emergency Department

• EMR: Meditech

• 17 ED beds

• Annual ED volume: approximately 24,500-25,500 visits

• Average daily census: 55-60 patients

• Transfer rate: approximately 4.94%

Transfer Locations:

• Riverside

• Grant

• Genesis

• Ohio State University

• Aultman (OB)

Requirements:

• Board Certified ABMS/AOA in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine - Required (no exceptions)

• Active Ohio medical license - Required

• IMLC accepted (must provide proof of Letter of Qualification within 3 business days of job acceptance)

• ACLS - Required

• ATLS - Required

• BLS - Required

• PALS - Required

• NRP - Required

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Medicine experience - Required

• COVID vaccination - Required
