Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry. The position involves 1:5 to 1:6 patient ratios. Experience with Meditech EMR is preferred. The candidate must possess AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications along with NIHSS certification. Candidates must hold a valid nursing license issued by the state. The role requires the ability to float within the nursing scope of practice when needed. Traveling nurses will work a schedule consisting of 36 to 48 hours per pay period. Scheduled shifts will include working every other weekend. Candidates should be flexible, as patient ratios can fluctuate based on census and staffing. References must be provided from a charge nurse or higher, as well as a supervisor reference, both within the last year. The position involves various nursing skills including telemetry monitoring, managing cardiac drips, and patient care for adults and geriatrics. The unit offers interdisciplinary support from various healthcare professionals. Candidates must be prepared to work holidays. All official documents, including certifications, are required for submission. Background checks will be conducted, and any license issues must be identified upfront. This position requires a commitment to delivering quality patient care in a dynamic environment.
