NuWest Travel Nursing is seeking a travel Surgical Technician for a travel job in Torrance, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Surgical Technician Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 05/07/2026 Duration: 8 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type: Travel Surgical Technicians (STs) with 2 years of recent acute care experience in a Level 1 Trauma hospital within a metropolitan, diverse patient population Prepare operating rooms and establish/maintain sterile fields Anticipate surgeon needs during complex procedures and efficiently pass instruments Handle specimens, perform surgical counts, and ensure accuracy and safety Assist with pre- and post-operative patient care Maintain strict sterility for elective, urgent, and emergent cases Thrive in a fast-paced environment with high adaptability and quick case turnovers Must work every other weekend and holidays.
