Clinic & Call Responsibilities
  • Clinic Hours During Shift: 8am-4:30pm
  • Outpatient Clinic Hours During Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
    • 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM (within the onsite day shift)
  • After-Hours Coverage: Call coverage required
  • EEG Reads:
    • Inpatient and outpatient, as needed
  • When outpatient schedule is light or unavailable, provider is expected to remain onsite for hospital coverage
Required Licenses & Certifications (Must Haves)
  • Board Certified in Neurology (Board Eligible not accepted)
  • Active Michigan medical license (must be in hand at time of name clear)
  • Provider must be local drive-in
  • Active DEA
  • BLS and ACLS
  • NIH Stroke Scale / tPA competency (preferred)
Required Procedures & Skills
  • Radiologic exam interpretation
  • Lumbar puncture (spinal tap)
  • EEG
  • Brain death examination
  • Evoked potentials
