Family Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (Adult Population) - High Springs, FL

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a busy family medicine clinic. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive primary care services, working closely with supervising physicians while maintaining autonomy in patient care. This role includes diagnosing illnesses, prescribing medications, performing physical exams, and implementing treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Obtain patient history and perform thorough assessments

• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic procedures

• Provide preventive health assessments, screenings, and immunizations

• Formulate diagnostic impressions and develop treatment plans

• Monitor treatment effectiveness and adjust care as needed

• Offer patient counseling and education

• Prescribe medications in accordance with Florida state laws and clinic policies

Qualifications:

• Active ARNP or PA license in the State of Florida

• CPR/BLS certification (AHA required)

• Experience with Internal Medicine/Adult Population is a must (1-2 yrs)

• Strong knowledge of medical systems, protocols, and terminology
