Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician

Position Title: Full-time Inpatient General Psychiatrist

Location: Orlando, FL
Central Florida Behavioral is a private psychiatric center offering a full continuum of multidisciplinary care that includes inpatient/acute care, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services. The programs serve children, adolescents and adults with general psychiatric, substance abuse and dual treatment diagnoses.

Position Overview:

• Employment Type: Inpatient General Psychiatrist, 1099 Independent Contractor
• Schedule / Hours: On-site Monday-Friday schedule
• Call: 1-2 nights a week after hours telephone call, 1:4 weekend rounding
• Patient Volume: up to 24 patients a day with assistance if needed, ages 18 and older
• Location: Orlando, FL
• Practice Setting: Inpatient Adult
• Support / Care Team: Multidisciplinary with BH Techs, BH RN, Social Workers and Therapists

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for child and adolescent patients.
• Participate in daily treatment team meetings.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
• Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines.

Compensation and Benefits:

• 1099 Independent Contractor

Qualifications:

• BC in General Psychiatry is required.
• Active or eligible FL license
• Active DEA
