Description
Our dental practice needs a Dental Hygienist to join our close-knit team. We serve all demographics of the population, as well as English and Spanish speaking patients, from preschoolers to the elderly, and we operate a busy office. In addition to preventive care appointments and scheduled procedures, we accept walk-ins and take emergency calls. We accept both insurance and cash patients. The ideal candidate will have a calm, reassuring and friendly demeanor as well as the ability to multitask and work well with others in a fast-paced atmosphere.
Responsibilities
* Review the daily schedules for hygiene patients with appropriate team member
* Accurately chart each patient’s periodontal health
* Perform prophylaxis, scaling root planning, debridement and selective polishing
* Take radiographs
* Apply Arrestin, fluoride and sealants
* Teach patients proper oral hygiene techniques
* Counsel patients on oral health
* Document pertinent observations and patient’s conditions and responses to recommendations for care.
* Clean and sterilize instruments
* Perform other tasks assigned by dentist.
*Requirements*
* Current RDH state license in good standing
* Current CPR certification
* Excellent Verbal communication skills
* Great team player
* Willing to learn and grow
* Basic understanding of HIPAA and privacy rules.
* Proficiency in Spanish is a bonus

Servimos a todas las poblaciones demográficas, así como pacientes de habla inglesa y española, desde niños en edad preescolar hasta ancianos, y operamos una oficina ocupada. Además de citas de atención preventiva y procedimientos programados, aceptamos entradas y llamadas de emergencia. Acceptamos tanto a los pacientes con seguro como en efectivo. El candidato ideal tendrá un comportamiento tranquilo, reconfortante y amigable, además de la capacidad de multitarea y trabajar bien con otros en un ambiente acelerado.

* Diagrama con precisión la salud periodontal de cada paciente
