Office hours are: Monday & Tuesdays 8:30am-3:45pm; Wednesdays 7:30am-3:00pm; Thursdays 7:30am-12:30pm
Off on Friday’s, No weekends, No holidays!
*JOB REQUIREMENTS *
* Valid license as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state regulations
* CPR/BLS Certification
* Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy and documentation review processes
* Strong understanding of infection control practices, aseptic technique, and sterilization procedures
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively
* Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and safeguarding patient information
*DUTIES*
* Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and root planning, periodontal maintenances, adult prophylaxis to remove plaque and tartar buildup
* Conduct patient assessments and medical history updates
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and treatment plans tailored to individual needs
* Ensure infection control standards are strictly followed, including sterilization of instruments and use of PPE
* Review and maintain medical records for completeness and accuracy prior to procedures
* Support patient care initiatives by providing compassionate service and addressing patient concerns effectively
* Adhere to all HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and privacy.
* Take x rays such as BWs & Pas, if necessary but rare
* Periodontal charting may be asked at times (this is rare for the RDH- it is usually done by the DA)
