Summary: The North Dakota Department of Transportation is seeking dedicated professionals to join the team. Responsibilities
Data Entry: Process purchase orders and vouchers; manage Purchase Card usage; prepare vehicle and equipment usage reports.
Procurement of Goods and Services: Acquire vehicle and equipment parts, miscellaneous purchases, building and janitorial supplies, shop and construction supplies; contact vendors with concerns or questions; pay district bills.
Inventory Control: Assist Maintenance Coordinator with annual inventory; perform inventory cycle counts and correct discrepancies; dispose of and adjust inventory items; maintain parts and supplies in the district storeroom; perform checks and balances for select field inventories.
Daily Motor Pool: Dispatch vehicles; clean vehicles as needed; input vehicle usage and schedule preventative maintenance; ensure vehicles are parked in assigned spots.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a high school diploma or GED and four years of storeroom, procurement/purchasing or warehouse-related work experience.
Requires possession of a valid Class D operator’s license.
Must have physical mobility compatible with a warehouse setting.
Ability to lift and carry several items up to 50 pounds.
Employment of the selected candidate will be contingent on satisfactorily completing the interview process, reference check, medical screening, and a criminal history record check.
