Camp Counselor and Sailing Instructor

Seeds of Peace Camp, Montgomery, AL, United States

Wyonegonic Counselors and Activity Instructors live with campers in lakefront cabins in our beautiful Maine wilderness setting. They contribute to the happiness and confidence of campers as they act as positive role models, supervise, teach and encourage. Counselors also instruct in at least one activity area in our non-competitive camp program. Our waterfront and boating program on Moose Pond is seeking staff who can instruct sailing in our RS zests and Bahia.

Training and certification is available on site in June. Wyonegonic also hires Activity Supervisors who are activity instructors or supervisors belonging to a unit and partake in all special events, evening programs and unit activities. The teamwork and flexibility of all staff working makes each summer a success. Camp covers the cost of all certifications and training that occurs on property in June prior to the season.
