The Senior Admissions Coordinator leads and oversees the Medforth Global Education (MGE) Admissions team, ensuring operational accuracy, efficiency, and consistency across the admissions lifecycle.

Overview
Position is part of a pod—a small cross‑functional team—focused on moving students through the admissions funnel. The Coordinator supervises staff, manages workflows, and directly engages applicants when higher‑touch support is needed. The role requires responsiveness across regions and reports to the Manager, AdmissionsOperations.

Responsibilities

Leadership & Supervision

Supervise, train, and mentor Admissions Coordinators.

Monitor workloads, communication quality, and adherence to response standards (24–48 hours).

Lead team meetings, provide coaching and feedback.

Collaborate with the Assistant Director of Admissions to ensure pods are cohesive and applicant‑focused.

Application Processing

Process prospective applications in a timely, student‑centric manner.

Serve as escalation point for complex application needs.

Oversee daily processing of applications, documents, and communications.

Ensure data entry accuracy of applicant files and compliance with processing standards.

Identify and address operational bottlenecks.

Contribute to MGE’s reputation for seamless, student‑first admissions practices.

Operational Execution

Support application processing workflows to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

Document all applicant interactions in Salesforce, maintaining data integrity.

Monitor response times and escalation protocols for compliance.

Conduct audits and reporting to support data accuracy, compliance, and effectiveness.

Support development and implementation of best practices, process improvements, and staff training.

Daily Functions

Support enrollment funnel progression with application processing and file completions.

Work collaboratively within the pod to provide coordinated support.

Use Salesforce to document all conversations, communications, and applicant progress.

Be available for Zoom meetings and phone calls with applicants and accepted students.

Process and track applications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines.

Communicate with Admissions Advisors regarding missing materials.

Support Admissions Officers during the acceptance stage (deposits, housing, travel, orientation).

Monitor at‑risk applicants and promptly elevate concerns.

Open, review, and triage incoming inquiries (calls, mail, email).

Facilitate enrollment, housing, and registration processes.

Assist with admissions projects, reporting, data management, and communications.

Perform other region‑specific duties as assigned.

Conversion & Accountability

Achieve individual goals while contributing to team objectives.

Own the document submission process for assigned applicants, ensuring all required materials are collected and issues resolved.

Regional Coordination & Flexibility

Address region‑specific requirements, credential evaluations, and applicant needs.

Understand admission requirements and equivalency to U.S. standards for targeted countries.

Participate in regional projects, events, and initiatives as assigned.

Collaboration

Partner with Admissions Officers, Recruiters, and Financial Aid staff within pods.

Work with Registrar, Bursar, Student Services, and other departments for smooth transitions.

Assist with training initiatives and cross‑functional projects.

Other Duties

Provide coverage for admissions functions as needed.

Perform additional duties and special projects assigned by leadership.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Strong leadership and supervisory skills; ability to coach, motivate, and develop staff.

Deep commitment to student‑centered admissions practices and applicant experience.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; confident engaging with students and families virtually and in person.

Proficiency in Salesforce and other CRM systems; experience with Banner preferred.

Highly organized and detail‑oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams, pods, and regions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.

3–5 years of admissions, student services, or higher education experience required.

Supervisory or team lead experience strongly preferred.

Experience using Salesforce and Banner systems preferred.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Professional office environment with frequent use of computers, phones, Zoom, and other communication tools.

Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail in a high‑volume setting.

Hours & Travel

Full‑time Monday‑Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Flexibility for evenings and weekends during peak recruitment and admissions periods.

Occasional travel for recruitment events, orientations, or regional support.

Salary Range
The anticipated salary range for the Senior Admissions Coordinator is

$55,000 to $65,000 per year . The final salary offered may vary based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, location, and education.
