If this sounds like the kind of place you'd like to work, progress, and play, we'd love to hear from you!The **Facilities Manager** is a key leader at Woodward Park City and is responsible for ensuring safe, well-maintained, and guest-ready facilities year-round. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role leads the teams responsible for building maintenance, custodial services, grounds and snow removal, parking operations, and overall base-area presentation.The **Facilities Manager** ensures high operational standards, supports an exceptional guest experience, and fosters a positive, inclusive team culture. You will work and play in the same innovative environments as professional and Olympic athletes.* Friends & family discounts and complimentary passes.* Enough free time to enjoy the Woodward lifestyle.* Discounts on food, retail, and gear.* Career development and growth opportunities are available here and at our facilities across the globe.* A connection with people who share the same passions and embrace each other’s unique and individual styles.**Key Responsibilities****Leadership & Team Development*** Lead and manage Base Operations teams, including building maintenance and custodial staff.* Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and evaluate employees* Manage timekeeping, performance documentation, and corrective action as needed.* Provide regular coaching and feedback to support growth and engagement.* Foster clear, timely cross-department communication.**Facilities & Operations*** Oversee maintenance and upkeep of base-area facilities, including two base buildings and the 66,000 sq. ft. Action Sports Hub.* Ensure indoor and outdoor sports areas meet safety, cleanliness, and presentation standards.* Direct grounds maintenance, landscaping, pedestrian areas, and parking zones* Lead and coordinate snow removal operations.* Oversee seasonal parking operations.* Manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and KPIs with a focus on efficiency and service excellence.**Vendor & Project Management*** Manage relationships with external contractors and vendors.* Assist with planning and execution of capital improvement and facility projects.* Ensure work is completed on time, within scope, and to safety and quality standards.**Safety & Compliance*** Champion a culture of safety and regulatory compliance.* Conduct safety inspections and compliance reviews.* Ensure adherence to company, local, and regulatory standards.**Operational Flexibility*** Perform hands-on operational duties when needed.* Adapt to seasonal demands and operational priorities.**Skills & Competencies*** Strong people leadership and team development skills.* Clear and effective communication.* Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.* Calm, solution-oriented approach in fast-paced environments.* Project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.* Commitment to inclusive leadership and team culture.**Required Qualifications*** 3+ years of supervisory and/or managerial experience.* Experience in facilities, property, or building maintenance* Valid driver’s license.* Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting to 50 lbs.* Ability to work in an outdoor, all-season mountain environment.* Availability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.* Successful completion of a criminal background check.**Preferred Qualifications*** Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate across departments.* Strong budgeting, scheduling, and operational management experience.**You make us Woodward.** We are a welcoming community that celebrates individual stories, backgrounds, experiences, and identities where we all have "different" in common.
