The Opportunity:
Abbott is seeking a highly organized and commercially minded Product Manager to join our US Cardiometabolic Marketing Team.
The Associate Product Manager will be responsible for managing Abbott Rapid Diagnostics Cardiometabolic (CM) product portfolio. The focus is on the day to day management of point of care diagnostic testing on our Afinion (HbA1C and ACR) and Cholestech LDX (cholesterol, lipids and glucose) analyzers.
This role will serve as a go-to resource for the US Cardiometabolic sales team and requires flawless product management, support of product launches, continuation marketing campaigns, developing and tracking key metrics, and strong collaboration across all functional areas of the organization, including commercial, upstream, R&D, finance, and operations.
What You’ll Work On
Day to Day Product & Operational Management
Own daily product management activities, ensuring product performance, availability, and profitability
Develop and maintain demand forecasts in collaboration with sales, supply chain, and finance
Plan and manage distributor load quantities, allocations, and timing
Coordinate closely with distributors and internal teams to address shortages, excess inventory, or channel constraints
Support product lifecycle activities including launches, transitions, and end‑of‑life planning
Manage product SKU and pricing creations and loads internally and with distribution
Maintain branded customer facing messaging and imagery through distribution
Partner with sales, marketing, operations, and finance on product launches, pricing, and promotions
Support lifecycle decisions including product introductions, transitions, and end of life planning
Product Training & Enablement
Develop, maintain, and deliver product training materials, product documentation, and presentation content
Become a subject matter expert, ensuring consistent and accurate product knowledge across the organization
Trade Shows & Industry Events
Support and participate in industry trade shows, conferences, and training events
Collaborate with marketing and sales on event planning, product demos, and messaging
Provide on site product expertise, training, and customer engagement during events
Gather market insights and customer feedback from trade shows to inform product and operational decisions
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
3-5 years of experience in product management, marketing, or related role
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on tasks
Ability to lead small projects or events involving multiple stakeholders across departments
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to effectively communicate with diverse internal and external stakeholders such as marketing and sales leadership, finance, supply chain, commercial excellence, training and development, and field sales/technical teams
Ability to travel up to 15%, including occasional weekends, to support conferences and sales training.
