Retail Manager - Year Round

* Ski perks (vary based on employment status) may include Deer Valley season pass, free skiing or riding at other Alterra Resorts and select local Utah resorts* Friends and family ski discounts, free staff ski lessons and discounted rentals (winter staff only)* Subsidized meals at Employee Dining Rooms offered for staff while on shift* Subsidized housing options available for seasonal full-time staff* Discounts for staff members at restaurants, shops, and service providers in Park City* Healthcare options are available for staff members* 401k plan with company match*Sales & Guest Experience** Lead by example to deliver outstanding guest service and in-store experience* Meet or exceed store sales and profitability goals* Monitor KPIs, conversion, and other sales metrics to optimize performance* Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure store cleanliness and organization*Leadership & Staff Development** Recruit, hire, train, and retain a high-performing team* Conduct regular coaching, feedback, and performance reviews* Develop staff through training programs, goal setting, and growth opportunities* Create schedules that ensure adequate coverage while staying within labor budget* Work with vendors to coordinate staff training and product knowledge*Operations & Inventory** Maintain accurate inventory levels and execute daily restocking, cycle counts, sending and receiving transfers.* Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and safety standards.* Manage POS operations with accuracy and integrity.* Coordinate with buyers or distribution teams as needed for product flow and feedback.* Oversee service and operations of service desks and in store vendor shops.**QUALIFICATIONS:*** 3–5 years of experience in retail management, preferably in the outdoor or winter sports industry.**PURPOSE OF POSITION:** The Retail Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Deer Valley retail stores to ensure sales goals are met, excellent guest service is delivered, and brand standards are upheld. This role leads a team of associates and supervisors, driving performance, managing inventory in stores, and creating a positive and productive work environment. **RESPONSIBILITIES:**
