Position Summary
The Operational Efficiency Specialist plays a vital role in improving productivity, performance, and process consistency across Factory6’s production and warehouse operations.

Reporting to the Director of Operations and working closely with the Production Manager and Warehouse Supervisor, this role bridges management strategy and day‑to‑day execution. The OE Specialist partners with supervisors and teams to identify performance gaps, streamline workflows, and implement data‑driven improvements that enhance output, reduce waste, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

This is a hands‑on, floor‑focused role designed to drive efficiency through collaboration, analysis, and proactive problem‑solving — not through direct personnel management. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, fast‑paced manufacturing environment and brings a strong understanding of lean practices, quality systems, and continuous improvement principles.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate daily with the Production Manager and Warehouse Supervisor to coordinate operations and meet targets for safety, quality, cost, and throughput.

Support and coach shift supervisors to enhance performance, communication, and efficiency.

Analyze production and warehouse data to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement.

Adjust production plans, material flow, and staffing allocations as needed to optimize output.

Ensure compliance with cGMP, FDA, and internal quality standards across all activities.

Work cross‑functionally with Quality, Maintenance, and R&D teams to resolve issues and implement process improvements.

Lead or assist with root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) initiatives.

Drive cost‑control, waste‑reduction, and process‑improvement projects.

Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Contribute to the development and refinement of best practices and SOPs.
