Responsibilities
Master Supply Planner
As a Master Supply Planner, you’ll play a key role in keeping our products flowing to customers by shaping supply plans that balance service, inventory, and operational efficiency. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Master Supply Planning, you’ll be the central link across Supply Chain, Sales, Procurement, and Operations – helping the business anticipate risks, execute new product launches, and deliver best‑in‑class planning performance. This is an ideal role for someone who loves solving complex problems, thrives in cross‑functional environments, and wants to drive meaningful improvements across an integrated supply network.
Candidates must be local to Lakeville, MN OR Fenton, MO.
What You’ll Do:
Lead Planning Strategy for Fruit & Nut Supply
Drive crossfunctional reviews to identify ingredient supply risks and assess potential impacts to finished goods availability.
Analyze demand trends and proactively communicate implications to Procurement and Material Planning teams.
Partner closely with Sales and Product Management to translate commercial strategies into transparent, actionable supply plans.
Support product lifecycle transitions by ensuring smooth launches and efficient material rundown during discontinuations.
Act as the central connection point between plant planning, sales, customer service, procurement, and operations to quickly address supply changes and issues.
Determine and maintain safety stock levels for finished goods and high‑risk ingredients.
Monitor aging inventory, uncover root causes, and collaborate with Sales on solutions that minimize waste and protect margins.
Fine‑tune MRP system parameters to reinforce inventory targets and enable efficient finite scheduling.
Track KPIs, investigate performance gaps, and lead corrective actions that drive continuous improvement.
Own the Aging & Excess Process
Lead the inventory aging and excess management process for the Nut Butter and Snacks division.
Facilitate monthly reviews with Sales, Product Management, Supply Planning, and Demand Planning to assess risks and develop disposition plans.
Manage material status changes aligned to approved strategies and coordinate updates for financial accrual processes.
Perform root cause analyses to prevent recurrence of aging/excess issues.
Maintain and report monthly KPIs highlighting risk areas, write‑off exposure, and performance trends.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related discipline
required
APICS certification preferred
Experience & Skills
5+ years of combined experience in master supply planning, inventory control, production scheduling, demand management, capacity management, materials management, or DRP – food processing/packaging preferred
Hands‑on experience with integrated planning systems (ERP/DRP/MPS/MRP/CRP)
Solid understanding of manufacturing systems and processes
Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations
Effective communicator who collaborates well across cross‑functional environments
Advanced Excel capabilities
The pay range for this position is $70,386 - $98,541 per year.
