ATA Services Inc. is currently seeking to hire a Business Operations Analyst to work on a temporary assignment in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
$28.00 per hour with weekly pay
40 hours per week Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm
Work Location: Santa Fe, NM
This position supports central supplies warehouse operations, including the maintenance, control, and distribution of all supplies, forms, titles, and license plates. Responsibilities include operating a forklift and pallet jack, as well as pulling and shipping orders through UPS. The role assists with documentation of purchase requisitions, invoices, and supply orders. Orders are entered into and exported using the WASP and Tapestry database systems.
The position provides support to both internal and external customers, participates in quarterly and annual inventory counts, and creates adjusting entries in WASP as needed. Additionally, the role ensures all equipment received for disposal is properly cataloged and prepared for the disposal process.
Apply advanced research and/or management analysis to complex problems, acts as a team leader for special projects and provides coordination with computer systems personnel.
Apply advanced program analyses, oversight, and planning and consultation services to/for Local Governments.
Deals with complex interrelated management problems and may serve as consultants on local, district, state, regional, or federal comprehensive planning programs.
Perform independently, have special expertise in a field and may be involved in the training of others.
Programming management functions with expertise in a field or occupation and may function as a consultant, requiring high levels of complexity, problem solving, and/or accountability.
Operate independently within diversified procedures and standards.
May handle deposits and cash transactions.
Proactively interacts with staff members and customers to directly influence and impact results of the programs and agency mission.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or supply chain support
Basic knowledge of shipping and receiving processes (e.g., UPS or similar carriers)
Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
Proficiency in data entry and use of inventory/database systems (e.g., WASP, Tapestry, or similar systems)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with government or public sector operations
Familiarity with procurement processes, purchase requisitions, and invoice tracking
Prior experience supporting inventory audits or cycle counts
Background in handling-controlled materials such as titles, forms, or license plates
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong organizational and inventory management skills
Ability to accurately track, document, and reconcile inventory discrepancies
Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and equipment handling
Ability to analyze and resolve complex operational or inventory issues
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping and order fulfillment
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
