Overview

Element has an opportunity for a

Associate Chemist

who will be primarily responsible for performing regeneration of water treatment to provide sufficient boiler water make up.

Salary: $26 - $28/hr DOE

Responsibilities

Responsible for performing routine and complex chemical analyses, maintaining laboratory equipment, and supporting team chemists to finish production in timely manner according to specifications and strict adherence to quality.

Prepare specimens and responsible for calibration , operation and maintaining laboratory equipment such as ICP-OES, GFAA, Combustion, Fusion Units and GDMS

Role requires a bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related field - minimum 2 years' experience.

Responsible, self-motivated, a team player and maintain awareness of health and safety mandated by the company.

Possesses good communication skills and organized.

Awareness of health and safety procedures and safe systems of work required to perform duties
Strong and determined quality focus with indefatigable determination to get the job done under the most challenging conditions
Self-motivated team player with excellent organisational skills
