Dealer Engagement and Portfolio Specialist

The Role
The Dealer Engagement & Portfolio Specialist manages a national portfolio of dealer contractual change requests across all 50 states, ensuring timely, accurate updates to dealer records in alignment with the DSSA and state franchise laws. This role collaborates closely with dealers, field teams, Legal, and other internal partners to mitigate risk, maintain data integrity, and support a healthy, high‑performing dealer network.

What You’ll Do

Support dealer and GM leadership requests on contractual changes, dealer data, and program enrollments, processing dealer contractual changes in alignment with the DSSA and state franchise statutes.

Track and update Change Requests, ensuring accurate activations, timely system updates (DNPS, CAT), zero clock violations, and on time completion in partnership with dealers, field teams, and senior specialists.

Use DCICR, DMS, e‑signature tools, and standard templates to process Change Requests, draft professional dealer correspondence, and maintain accurate electronic files, regularly reviewing DMS and SharePoint to ensure ILM compliance.

Assist with basic financial and forecast analysis to support dealer proposals, add‑point recommendations, and candidate assessments using established tools and benchmarks.

Help gather documentation and background information for Legal and other stakeholders, following defined processes and checklists.

Support training and continuous improvement by following and helping to update desk procedures and materials.

Champion GM behaviors and a culture of inclusion, respect, and collaboration.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related field

2+ years of experience in a fast‑paced automotive, office management, or related business operations environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfort working with databases and system‑driven workflows

Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to handle multiple tasks in a high‑volume environment

Solid planning, documentation, and organizational skills with reliable follow‑through

Strong written and interpersonal communication skills and ability to work effectively on cross‑functional teams

Demonstrated analytical skills and interest in learning how to translate data into insights and recommendations

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and a high level of motivation, initiative, and ownership of work

What Can Give You a Competitive Advantage (Preferred Qualifications)

Experience with dealer contractual processes, state franchise statutes, automotive retail operations, and/or familiarity with DCICR, DNPS, DMS, and e‑signature tools
